FAQ

Common coordinator questions

A short version of the Therapy Gardens and SeniorU FAQ, focused on what most host sites need to know before choosing programs.

Do you come to us or do we go to you?

We come to your location within our service area, bringing what is needed for a smooth program. Outside the service area, DIY Programs can be shipped with instructions and support.

Where do you travel?

We are based in Eastern Massachusetts and travel throughout the region. We also have outposts in select areas, including parts of Connecticut and southern New Hampshire, and we are always open to creative options for groups farther away.

What kinds of programs do you offer?

Programs include food and nutrition, technology and AI, healthy living, gardening and nature, hobbies, events, tastings, and hands-on seasonal activities.

Are the programs suitable for older adults?

Yes. Programs are designed to be accessible, engaging, and meaningful for older adults, with formats that can be adjusted for different groups and settings.

Can programs be seasonal or holiday-themed?

Yes. Many programs can be adapted for seasonal themes, holidays, awareness months, and special events such as fall programs, edible gifts, Veterans Day, or Alzheimer's Awareness Month.

Can we customize a program?

Yes. Many workshops are modular and can be tailored to your audience, goals, schedule, theme, or level of support needed.

What do we need to provide?

Very little. Materials, supplies, setup, and cleanup are usually handled for you. Host sites typically provide tables, chairs, and the room or presentation setup.

Can we book a series or recurring programs?

Yes. Many organizations schedule monthly or seasonal programs, and a simple repeatable plan can be built around your calendar.

Are materials natural and safe?

Therapy Gardens kits use curated natural elements whenever possible. Soil and moss are sanitized when needed, and material safety is considered during planning.

Ready to Plan?

Not sure where to start?

Send a month, audience, location, and any theme you have in mind. We can suggest a few strong options, confirm availability, and help you shape a simple plan that fits your setting.

Email is best for availability, planning, and program suggestions.

How to Book

  1. Tell us the basics.Audience, location, preferred month, and program format.
  2. We suggest good fits.We can recommend 2-3 programs, seasonal hooks, or DIY options.
